I started working for MURAL in January of 2022. I’m familiar with working in a fully remote setup, especially after the past two years, but this time there is an added twist: most of my team is located on the East Coast, and I’m back in France. Hello timezone issues!
But over time, things are getting better. I have found my stride with the team, I know better how someone works, how someone respond to comments, etc. And I also found a good rhythm, by alternating hours of focus time and hours of communication time.
What I struggle the most yet is how to read feedback while talking through video conference.
